Kevin,
I guess you didn't know this but when you pay a bill on-line the bank or the bill pay service uses the US mail to send there checks to your creditors. The reason is the US Postal Service is still the safest way to do business.

Your statement ignorance feeding ignorance is a good one however, I see it a little different. Try my view!
I am 52 crippled in one leg and blind in one eye and yet I work for a living. I am only able to afford over the air TV not due to ignorance but due to income. I do not feed off the public system and I pay all my own bills.
In response to all of you that feel we have had plenty of time...depends on how you look at it...TV before power, water, work and food? I have times that I don't have the cost of that box left on payday to take care of me for two weeks but I manage.
I applied for the coupon because in my area you could in fact get it for free with the coupon....the coupons are no longer available. I only get one channel as it is.....on that channel I do however get the news and NBC and am thankful for that.
Through that one channel I was able to see the views on the candidates for the election, pray for those in the disaster areas, and keep up with what the economy was doing. It also provides us with alerts for emergencies such as water boilings, floods, snow storms school cancellations and much much more.
It appears from all the articles I am reading that the big to do on this is what it would cost the broadcasting companies if they delay it.....my taxes as poor as I am go for those bailouts just like yours....I see little benefit from it as I will on this vote but I would like to leave you with YOUR words.....
IGNORANCE IS FEEDING IGNORANCE.....OUR LEGISLATURE IS STILL BAILING OUT THE RICH....AND PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE STILL UNGRATEFUL FOR WHAT THEY HAVE AND HAVE NO COMPASSION FOR THOSE WHO WORK HARD BUT HAVE LESS. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND THE REST OF YOUR IGNORANT IDEAS.
they can't print money without first selling a US treasury bond to cover its value (we don't have the gold)....and you know who buys these bonds? China!!
